AZALEA COVE
Plan your best day ever nestled in the cove with dreamy views of Lake Martin! Azalea Cove offers accommodations for indoor and outdoor ceremonies with amenities such as a pool, state-of-the-art kitchen and multiple gazebos.
CHEROKEE BEND
A rustic-themed inn located in historic Alexander City offers creatively designed rooms with Southern motifs amid a serene atmosphere. The baby grand piano in the main room provides an air of elegance. Cherokee Bend offers an ideal location for a ceremony and reception.
CHURCH IN THE PINES
With a capacity over 800, Church in the Pines is the perfect setting for larger events. Its open-air chapel sits on the Lake Martin shoreline and offers a scenic, rustic backdrop for a ceremony. The venue has three spacious aisles, a wooden cross hanging above the pulpit, and a nearby bathhouse to be used as a bridal suite.
CHILDREN’S CHAPEL at CHILDREN’S HARBOR
With its traditional setting, Children’s Chapel at Children’s Harbor is a beautiful option for smaller weddings. The capacity is 125, and amenities include the lighthouse and gazebo as additional backdrops for photos and ceremonies. Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Martin, Children’s Harbor is typically home to recreational programs supporting disabled children and their families. A portion of event rental fees goes toward these services.
COPPER’S at STILLWATER’S
This 18-hole golf course clubhouse located on Lake Martin offers many indoor and outdoor event options. The lawn of Copper’s Grill features outdoor café lighting and wrought iron tables, and the casual restaurant offers an extensive catering menu to fit your needs.
CREEKSIDE LODGE AND EVENT CENTER
Nestled on a point of land along the wooded shores of Lake Martin, Creekside Lodge Event Center offers a stunning backdrop. The recently upgraded facility can host up to 200 comfortably but it is perfect for smaller, intimate gatherings as well. With an open floor plan, covered deck, and separate bar area, the possibilities are endless. Guests can even book accommodations in one of 25 available rooms.
THE GRAND OAK
Russell Lands on Lake Martin offers this nature-centric location to celebrate under a century-old oak tree. “Its natural beauty and inherent history add a magical sense of place perfect for wedding ceremonies,” according to its website. The location accommodates up to 300.
HEAVEN HILL
With mountain views befitting its name, this lush hilltop feels both grand and intimate. The majestic landscape will speak for itself. Elevate your celebration to new heights, and let the landscape be the stunning setting for the joy to come. This location can accommodate up to 250 guests.
HODGES VINEYARD AND EVENT CENTER
Set among 33 acres of grapevines that create a beautiful natural backdrop, Hodges is conveniently located near Lake Martin. The venue offers several event set-up locations including a raised platform pergola designed to seat 100; a serene lake with expansive space for a unique set up; and a 600-square-foot ballroom with a high ceiling, tiered iron chandeliers and dressing rooms for the bride and groom. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen on site.
KYLEE COOPER FARMS
Kylee Cooper Farms is a 4,800 square foot barn in Dadeville that offers dressing rooms, a kitchen, and a large porch overlooking the pond. The venue offers a 7-foot wooden cross, 10 wooden benches, six whisky barrels and four wooden spools for décor. It is also equipped with tables and chairs to accommodate an array of party plans. The picturesque setting features a pond with expansive rolling hills.
LEGACY EVENT CENTER
A recently opened Alexander City venue, Legacy Event Center, is an open-layout location, great for events of all types and sizes. Its neutral backdrop presents a blank canvas for couples to decorate with their personal touches. This event venue is ideal for weddings, baby showers, corporate events, reunions, birthday parties, and more!
THE LODGE AT COCKTAIL SLOUGH
Breathtaking views of Lake Martin, The Lodge is a warm and welcoming multipurpose space with wood-beamed ceilings, an expansive covered patio, a lush lawn, and an oversized dock for boats and watercraft. Its versatility includes a conference center, 12 guest rooms, a kitchen, and a wet bar. The two-tiered lawn offers room for up to 200 guests which is perfect for ceremonies and receptions.
THE MILL TWO EIGHTY
The Mill Two Eighty offers an open indoor layout for an array of event options. Rental includes seating for 200, tables, a prep area, refrigeration for caterers, and a built-in sound system. This venue was converted from the former Russell retail store, and it now provides a great blank slate to design the event of your dreams. The Mill Two Eighty will be under construction in 2023, but it will be a great venue option for events occurring in 2024 and beyond.
MISTLETOE BOUGH BED AND BREAKFAST
This historic charming bed and breakfast is a beautiful location where “comfort meets elegance.” The classic Victorian design offers a unique backdrop for any celebration, and the venue also has five tailored rooms to accommodate guests. Set within Alex City’s historic limits, Mistletoe radiates true Southern hospitality.
THE MITCHELL HOUSE
Previously named Gingko Manor, the 1835 historic home and grounds located in downtown Dadeville has Southern charm written all over it. A permanent on-site event tent seats 175 and includes wooden chairs, a chandelier, and draped curtains. The house, gazebo, and 2-acre landscaped yard are all available as venue locations. Amenities includes a formal parlor, bride and groom dressing rooms, and a banquet room that seats 50 guests.
NEW WATER FARMS
Set among a serene peninsula on Lake Martin, New Water Farms features 22 acres of working farmland and an event facility that can accommodate an array of celebrations. Modern elegance, lush farmland, and a lakeside A-frame, open-air chapel highlight the venue’s uniqueness. The open-beamed lodge seats 250. The large doors open to a spacious porch, allowing guests to seamlessly flow indoors and outdoors. Ceremonies and receptions can also be staged at the beach, on the lawn, or in the vineyard.
THE ORCHARD VENUE
Under the shade of centuries-old pecan trees, The Orchard is one of Lake Martin’s newest venues. Its charming estate is perfect for an intimate gathering, but it is also luxurious enough to host a grand gathering. With sleeping accommodations, a kitchen, and a pool, the venue offers many ways to host your special day.
OVERLOOK FARMS
Overlook Farms is a unique southern venue with a Jackson Hole twist nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains overlooking beautiful Lake Martin, AL. With 80 acres of beautiful rolling hills and a mountain top scenic view, it offers the perfect backdrop for your BEST. DAY. EVER. Whether you are planning that perfect wedding, corporate event, meeting or other private party, Overlook Farms is the destination for you.
SPRINGHOUSE
SpringHouse is a warm, inviting venue that offers stunning panoramic views of lush rolling hills. The architecture exudes rustic elegance with features including an exposed stone hearth, rough-hewn beams, hand-forged ironwork, and carved granite that perfectly reflect the natural surroundings. Catering and cocktail menus are crafted and tailored to each celebration. The location offers five distinctive spaces to choose from for your special day.
THE STABLES
Described by Russell Lands as stately and rugged, this unique location is set among the ancient oaks of Russell Forest along Lake Martin. This venue is a full-service location with tables, chairs, benches, pews, a built-in bar, carriage, various props, and parking assistant. Offering endless possibilities with indoor and outdoor space, brides can customize everything about their special day.
THE SQUARE
The Square is located in historic downtown Alexander City and features an indoor backdrop like no other. Reminiscent of the New Orleans French Quarter, The Square features a brick-lined street, intricate ironwork, and mezzanine-level balconies. The Square easily tailors its offerings for events of all types and sizes and has tables and chairs available for use.
WHITE ACRES
Located off U.S. Highway 280 in Camp Hill, this rustic, charming restored barn offers elegance tied with country simplicity. The interior features crystal chandeliers, rustic reclaimed church pews, exposed wooden paneling, and a stable door entrance. The 5,000 square-foot ceremony barn is full of character and the 8,000 square foot reception barn offers additional vintage charm with seating for 300. Antique props, prep kitchen and bar, and a ceremony stage are all available for use.
ZAZU’S VERANDAH
Opened in 2019 in the historic Dadeville town square, Zazu’s Verandah is a renovated 1914 building turned chic city-barn event space and listening room. The original exposed brick, 14-foot ceilings and heart pine floors are just a few of the charming details. The space offers a front verandah, and a catering kitchen. The open layout is the perfect place for your wedding parties, bridal luncheons and rehearsal dinners.
